When I first arrived at my client's home, I was immediately struck by its secluded location, nestled in the woods on a large plot of land. Upon entering, I was greeted by a lovely young couple and their two young children.
For their eight-foot ceilings, I suggested raising them, and it was a great decision. Doing so, increased natural light and expanded space was perfect for their family. One of my favorite features was a black cabinet door with a unique mullion detail, inset in the white framed cabinetry. I also created a hutch-style cabinet in the same color scheme, but with a soft matte black finish on the doors and drawers.
In terms of functionality, this kitchen was a true masterpiece. Multiple refrigeration units were installed, including a built-in column refrigerator, refrigerator and freezer drawers, and additional under-counter units in the island. The two side-by-side pantry cabinets were equipped with eight rollouts for ample storage.
